

What it is ::
Tearfund is a mission based in the UK, that works to mobilize local churches throughout the world to help many different activist movements. Their goal is to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a network of 100,000 churches. They see the local churches as the best network to get help delivered whether it be food, medicine or supplies to the points of need. They also are involved in the fair-trade issues around the world and developed Tearcraft, which works with 19 producers in 10 countries to help create a quality job market and pay rate.
