Who are they ::
Feed My Starving Children is committed to feeding God's starving children hungry in body and spirit. Our approach is simple: Volunteers pack nutritious meals made up of rice, soy, vitamins and dehydrated vegetables, and we partner with relief organizations worldwide to distribute these meals to starving children.
As a Christian non-profit, we hope to reduce the number of starving children throughout the world by working to instill compassion in a generation that hears and responds to the cries of those in need. We invite you to join us in this important work.
How to get involved ::
Pray for them
We believe that God answers the prayers of His people and ask you to join us in praying for the following:
That God will pour His blessings on the plans for a packaging site in Chicago and that He will provide the funds and the volunteers to help feed His precious children out of this new facility.
For the safety of the food being shipped to all the starving children we serve.
Thanksgiving for the thousands of volunteers who come to package food at FMSC’s packaging sites; that they will feel God’s presence as they do the Lord’s work and for their safe travel to and from the sites.
Continued protection and direction for the staff of FMSC.
That those who are able to support FMSC financially will feel called to do so to help feed the millions of starving children worldwide.
That God will open the doors to opportunities for FMSC to touch many more lives.
Praise and thanksgiving for giving FMSC dedicated Board members who seek and follow God’s will.
Help with the technologies that enable FMSC to run smoothly including computers, telephones and cameras.
For God's protection of our distribution partners who live around the world. Also, may God protect FMSC staff as they travel to countries where our food is distributed.
For guidance as FMSC adds Board Members, asking God to bring people to us who will listen to the voice of God as they help carry out the mission of FMSC.

Schools
Elementary, middle and high schools use FMSC to strengthen curriculum efforts focusing on citizenship, social service, asset building and other positive aspects of character development. The FMSC volunteer experience can provide a real-world application of classroom learning. Students are able to work together for a finite period of time and with a specific, high-value outcome. At the end of every volunteer session the group knows exactly how many meals were produced to eliminate hunger in the world.
Churches and Synagogues
FMSC can be a deeply meaningful and powerful resource for confirmation classes, service learning opportunities and mission programs. Many faith communities integrate the FMSC experience with their own mission activities, whether preparing food for a specific mission program, or combining FMSC packing with mission trips to the places supported by that community. This integrated approach offers a powerful opportunity for “closing the hunger circle.
Corporations
Corporations of every kind use FMSC as a site for team building programs. Because of FMSC’s emphasis on small group involvement and outcome-focused participation, the volunteer experience offers a wonderful way for a company to engage employees and motivate with the selfless benefit of feeding the world’s starving children.
Volunteer for walk-ins, where you can go to their factory and help pack meals.
