What it is ::
Developer Blake Mycoskie was challenged with the poverty and health issues in Argentina. He saw kids all over the outskirts playing in the streets and alleys with no shoes because their family couldn't afford it. Shoes are a luxary in some parts of the world and Blake decided that comfort should be universal. So he started Toms Shoes, a product inspired by a traditional Argentine shoe, and vowed to donate a pair of shoes for every pair of shoes that were bought. Pretty simple really, you buy one of his shoes, and he gives a pair away on your behalf.
