What it is:
Founded in 2002 by actor Kirk Cameron and evangelist Ray Comfort, The Way of the Master is an evangelism training ministry emphasizing what they call “Biblical evangelism.� Their headquarters is located in Bellflower, CA. The Way of the Master, through its several ministries (A TV and radio show, online school, group training courses, and many resources), along with sister organization Living Waters Publications, strives to teach the “WDJD� evangelism technique.

What Did Jesus Do? Biblical Evangelism
Cameron and Comfort, citing John 4:7-26 and Psalm 19:7, claim that law evangelism was used by Jesus Himself, and is therefore the best method. They also maintain that using “accept Jesus� evangelism, which has become so popular in modern evangelicalism, has created many false converts.

Their method, which was once used by great preachers like Charles Spergeon, is pretty straightforwardâ€"law to the proud, grace to the humble. Before grace, the sinner must first be humbled and made aware of his sinfulness through the use of the Ten Commandments. This creates fewer backsliders, as the Christian is aware of his sinful nature and his need for God before “acceptingâ€? Jesus.
