The Sons of Salvation ministry was started by Dow and Cindee Warner, two people who God called into the mission field 12 years ago. This ministry is making an impact, not in just one central region, but all over the world. The vision for the Sons of Salvation ministry is to Challenge, Train, Release, Refresh, and Restore missionaries. They offer short term missions and they have the accredited Mission Masters Commission. They offer ESL classes as well and are always looking for ESL teachers. They want to take people around the world for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ, ultimately fulfilling the call of Christ in Matthew 28:19-20.

I asked Cindee what were some of the goals for the future of Sons of Salvation ministries.
“Sons of Salvation has been asked by many countries to come and minister to their people. We are looking to expand our ministry to include many nations in Central and South America, as well as more European countries. At this time, we have ministries in Peru, El Salvador, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Germany, Russia, Romania, the Czech Republic, Wales, England, the Bahamas, Argentina, and Nicaragua. We are looking to add India, Africa, and China to that group. China will be (focused on) for the 2008 Olympics. If there is anyone interested in that, it would be wise to start planning now. We have a combined ministry with PraiseFest Ministries that we will endeavor to continue taking cruise ships full of people who want to do ministry on a Cruise With A Cause Missions Trip. Our prayer is that eventually this (Cruise For A Cause) will take place not only in the Bahamas, but around the world, wherever cruise ships sail.�

How You Can Get Involved
There are four ways to get involved with the Sons of Salvation Ministry

1 â€" The first way that you can get involved is through prayer. Any missionary will tell you that the prayers offered up for the ministry and those who the ministry comes into contact with are helpful as the Lord hears those prayers. You don’t have to sign up or anything, just pray each day for Dow and Cindee and all those involved with the Sons of Salvation Ministry, as well as everyone that they encounter.

2 â€" The second way is to join the ministry as a career. They are always looking for people with a heart for missions and you can contact the Sons of Salvation ministry to find out about how you can get involved in the field of missions for your career.

3 â€" The next way that you can get involved is to take your youth group, church group, or even your family on one of their God Encounter weeks. You can take on a mission project and spread the love of Christ in the United States or in a variety of foreign countries. The trips continue throughout the year, so you can contact the ministry to find out more details and get a list of places you can take your group.

4 â€" The final way, yet not the least of importance, is to help the ministry financially. All ministries need financial support to be able to provide the services that are needed in the regions that they are working. You can send financial support to the ministry by writing to the address listed on their website.

We all want to make a difference in this world for the sake of Christ. The Sons of Salvation ministry hopes that they can help you to make that difference through the services that they provide. If we all have the true heart of a Christian and want to spread the love of Christ, we will take the time to support and take part in ministries that fulfill that command that Jesus gave us…go and make disciples.

The heart of this ministry was summed up perfectly when I asked Cindee how God planted the idea for this ministry. She said, “Missions has always been a very important part of our lives. We believe that the Great Commission is for everyone…that God wants all of us to do mission work whether it is at home or abroad. We feel that God called us to start this ministry as a means of taking people around the world to change lives but also to be changed. We desire to take people from all countries on mission trips not just those from the USA and Canada.�
