A Romantic Date

For more romance, take her on a horse-drawn carriage ride with a picnic in a park. This is especially romantic in the city because it brings a suburban touch unique from your usual environment. If your buggy did not take you very far from your houses, walk together and sightsee like you’re tourists. Chances are there are many things in your own backyard that you did not notice amidst the hustle and bustle of life. I do stress a horse-drawn carriage. Unless you are both experienced riders, don’t take the risk of having sore bottoms the next day.

A Special Interest Date

What common ground do you share with her? Find a hidden or unknown locale that you would both enjoy. It may be a comedy club, an open mic café, a karaoke bar, or a museum. Don’t opt for the popular places because she has probably been there before or it will be crowded. A hidden gem would also be more intimate.

2. Eye Exam

I recently took part in the wedding ceremony of two friends of mine. I noticed the way that the two seemed so happy and how they truly are meant to be together. The wedding was beautiful and everything went perfectly as I feel sure that their marriage will as well.
As we went through the rehearsals, pictures, ceremony, and the reception, I noticed how his eyes were locked on her, seemingly unable to peel them away from the one that would be by his side forever. His vision was clear as he had found the one that he had been looking for.

As single guys, we have to continuously check our vision as we look for our bride. We have to be careful in the search to make sure that we are not looking in the wrong direction or at the wrong type of females. We have to be absolutely sure that the apple of our eye is not a forbidden fruit, leading us to a place that we cannot return from.

Here is a simple, yet necessary, eye exam for you to take as you look for the one that you will spend the rest of your time with. Examine each person that you date and if she does not pass each line of the exam, turn your eyes onto another more qualified person who can truly complete your life.

3. “Lust� Proof your Marriage
When I was in College, I wrestled daily with this ugly, attractive, sneaky, persuasive, familiar beast called lust. It would give me something to look forward to on lonely days, waste my day away, leave me with guilt and make my palms sweat, and mouth water in a sick way that I only thought a woman could do.
It’s fecal remains could be found on video tapes fast forwarded to certain scenes, Men’s magazines (we are not talking Playboy but the real Men’s magazines like Maxim, Stuff etc), on the ad section of the newspaper, and stuck in the cache history of my computer.
But this was just a College phase, right? I am sorry God, but I am trying to keep pure for my wife.
Isn’t it better this than a real woman? God, I am sorry, but this will all quite once I am married right? Lust will be defeated at the alter.
