5 Simple Rules for Picking Sunglasses
Ever wanted to wear sunglasses, but every time you try one on, it just doesn’t feel right? Picking sunglasses is a task. Unless you know exactly what you’re looking for, you can’t just walk inside a store and buy the first pair that you touch. However, whatever pair you buy and whatever brand you choose, remember to invest in ones that will last for a long time. Also remember these five simple rules for picking sunglasses.
1. It covers your entire eyes, but it does not extend beyond the widest part of your face.
You wouldn’t want sunglasses that are too small, nor would you want ones that are too big. To find that balance, make sure that, when wearing the sunglasses, you can’t see any of your eyes. Also, find the widest part of your face, and make sure that the sunglasses does not extend beyond it. The widest part of a person’s face is usually the cheeks or the cheekbones.
2. The frame sits comfortably on the bridge of your nose.
While wearing the sunglasses, shake your head. If the sunglasses slip off, it’s too loose, but if it leaves a mark, it’s too tight. Find ones that won’t slip off and won’t leave a mark.
3. It’s should not be too tight at your temples.
If you are scared that you might break the sunglasses or overstretch it while putting it on, this probably means that it would be too tight. Also, if it leaves a mark, it’s too tight. Find ones that are easy to put on and off.
4. It covers your eyebrows.
Make sure that the top of the sunglasses just covers your eyebrows, and not half your forehead.
5. The bottom of the sunglasses should not extend past the top of your nostrils.
