Goody-Good
Generally the demographic of Christian men are not subtitled with the words “Bad Boy". Secular society sees us as weak, goody-goods, who need God for a crutch. This is not necessarily a bad thing because according to our lifestyle handbook “The Bible", we are called to live life as a goody-good in the secular worldview. For example, Luke 6:28 says, “If someone strikes you on your cheek, turn to him the other also, and if someone steals your cloak, do not stop him. How can we be tough if we can’t even fight in self defense or fight for the things we own? And any sign of rebellion goes out the window in Romans where it tells us to “be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody?. This verse basically tells us to always live by the rules no matter what they are. Then there’s good old Thessalonians 4 telling us to “make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business…? This doesn’t sound like much fun! I mean ambition, which means seeking achievement and success, sounds good, but the passage goes on to say “lead a quiet life?. What!? How can I be ambitious about being quiet? How can I be any woman’s Knight in shining armor if I can’t defend her from being mugged on the street? Or can’t take her night swimming after park hours? Or even yell from the top of my lungs in Time square that I love her?

I know I’m looking at these verses in a very literal light, but honestly, when can I have some fun and show women the mysterious, unpredictable dangerous side of being a Christian man?

Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll

Being a bad boy does not have anything to do with sex, drugs and rock and roll. It does not have to do with being tough or having an attitude. It doesn’t have to do with cigarettes, tattoos and leather. It is all about being courageous and going against the grain. As Christians, we are the supreme rebels. We always have to go against culture and stand out of the crowd. It was easy for me to kick back a few beers, cuss up a storm and get in a few brawls when I was young, but I wasn’t courageous enough to tell my friends about Jesus. Respect and street credit come from standing strong in the face of adversity and ridicule, not bending under pressure. If you stick true to your beliefs and be a man of integrity, independent of what is cool and the thing to do, people will truly look up to you in the end.

The Ultimate Hero

Jesus upheld a good example for us all. He was humble, kind, loving, patient, understanding, wise and gentle. But he was also courageous, an electrifying speaker, a dashing personality, and best of all, he stood for what he believed. He’s also the hero in the best selling book of all time. 6,000,000,000 copies sold! Even compared to Tupac, Eminem, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Sean Penn, Dennis Rodman, and Collin Farrell, Jesus is the most well known name of all time! This is so because He was courageous enough to live and die for what he believed.
If you, my friend, are a Christian, and live according to the Bible, you are mysterious and, therefore, enticing and attractive, especially to women. Honestly, isn’t this the image we want to cultivate instead of the push-over, pansy, nice guy? Women should witness boldness, courage and purpose in the way we live our lives. Here are a few extra tips on how to be a “Bad Boy? in the eyes of the ladies without compromising your beliefs. The accompanying websites will help you do your research.

6 Bad Boy Options

1.Adventure sport -Rock climbing, kite-surfing, car racing, snowboarding, surfing, paintball, skateboarding, bmx racing, motocross "these sports scream adventure and have an element of danger that make girls tell you to be safe, which is always a good thing.

2. Motorcycle - Buy and learn how to ride a motorcycle, because if there’s a vehicle on the road that boasts danger, it’s the classic cycle. Make sure to get proper training before you go for a test drive, but once you can handle your own, order a custom chopper. Believe me, it will turn heads.

3. Combat Sports - Learn a combat sport such as boxing, karate, kickboxing, Kendo (art of Samurai swordsmanship), or taekwando. Although these sports are a little controversial in the Christian community, ask Evander Holyfield or George Foreman if you can still be a Christian and a boxer at the same time.

4. Street Ministry - Start a street team that goes into the toughest neighborhoods or countries to witness God’s truth. Little can be more courageous than this. You are putting yourself out there and asking God to protect you.
Get involved

5. Dangerous career - Firefighters, rescue teams, police officers, military officers, FBI Agents. Obviously, don’t change your career to improve your image, but if you are going into these fields, they have their benefits.

6. Rock and Roll-- Learn how to rock the guitar or bang on the drums. Few things are sexier to a woman than a man who can strum a few tight riffs.

I had my doubts when i clicked the link, sarted reading thought maybe i was wrong, came to the six options and it was confirmed, what are you doing, this is not how to win a girl, if any girl falls for someone who is trying to impress her with doing any of these things, she is no better than a girl still in sin. As a jewel of gold in a swines snout, so is a fair women without discretion.

I agree that you should not do these things just to find a lady, but women whether Christian or not, are attracted to masculinity, a guy's guy, which I think the church needs more of.

This is possibly the worst advice on manhood I have ever, and I mean EVER READ. WHO THE HELL IS WRITING YOUR ARTICLES?

What version of the bible are you using?

Manhood and Christlikeness are the same thing, and we are called as men to be like CHRIST. Christ was dangerous, he wasn't a push over.

You are not called to be a wick, sissy lil christian boy. You are called to be a strong WARRIOR. Jesus was casting out demons left and right, rebuking the hypocrites and chasing the money chasers out of his fathers temple. HE WAS DANGEROUS.

Do whats right in the worlds eye? What is that from, the MESSAGE? I can't find it in my NKJV.

I come from a atheist/bad boy background, and since finding Christ I have learned to live as a real man. And I can tell you some non-Christians are afraid to make me mad.

Strength of character is something that people FEEL. It can be as noticeable as some guy who lifts weights.

I'm recommending books like, Wild At heart and Maxmized Manhood, How to Be a Real Man, by Ed L. Cole

Man, these articles on this site are getting worse and worse.

Sorry, but this was a horrible article and you should be REBUKED for telling young christian men to be passive wimps.

Sorry Michael, but you must of not read the whole article....did you just skim the first paragraph...the rest of the articles talks about not being a push over Mr. Nice guy....read the entire article before putting in your two sense....I dig what is being said here.
