What it is ::
The Global Rich List is an online educational tool put together by a small creative company out of London. The concept is pretty simple:
1. Enter your annual income
2. Click "Show Me the Money" and see where you rank in regards to the global population.
3. Recognize how wealthy you are and "Care" - donate to those in need.

The reason behind the site is to challenge peoples perception of personal wealth, while in the meantime hoping to raise money for good causes. "We are obsessed with wealth. But we gauge how rich we are by looking upwards at those who have more than us. This makes us feel poor. We wanted to do something which would help people understand, in real terms, where they stand globally. And make us realise that in fact most of us (who are able to view this web page) are in the privileged minority. We want people to feel rich. And give some of their extra money to a worthwhile charity".
Cool Feature :: Number 1 the anti-design of the site draws you in right away. Number 2, the facts they give you about how far your money will go in other countries is amazing. Ex. "$2400 could buy you a second generation High Definition TV OR schooling for an entire generation of school children in an Angolan village".
Rating :: 10/10 Like Freerice.com, Glogalrichlist gets right to the point.
