What it is ::
Wreckedfortheordinary.com is an online publication focusing on culture, arts, adventure, community, poverty and simplicity. I really enjoy this publication because they hit all the areas that I see God in the most. When they do a feature on adventure, it will be a Jesus adventure, where the mission to help people is the adventure and that is the way I want to live my life. They represent art, culture, and simplicity as a way to glorify God and do a good job of revealing our desperate need for community in this email saturated world. And lastly, they don't forget our purpose as Christians. Our purpose to help those in need and lay down our consumer attitude at the cross. Check out this ezine, it is well worth your time.

Who they are :: (In their own words)

We’re members of a generation that is not content to view the world through the drab lens of materialism and hand-me-down religion. We want more. We want to live life on purpose, actively participating in true community, intimacy, and adventure. We are re-imagining culture.

We want to leave this world in a different state than the one in which we found it. Maybe we’re a scrap of conversation that has been going on for years; maybe we’re a voice in the wilderness. Whatever has come before us, we want our voice to be authentic. And we want to be heard.

We won’t settle for the comfortable; we won’t negotiate our time and space in history.
We are Wrecked for the Ordinary.

Best Feature :: The arts section is great. They do interviews on different artists and publish examples of their work online. Each show a different way to glorify God and in the interview describe their vision.

Rating :: 10/10
