What it is::
The new V-drive boats by Malibu combines the incredible ski experience of an inboard with the ability to create a giant wake for wakeboarders. It's not really an inboard (the engine is in the back) but it's not really an outboard either, since the driveshaft connects to the middle of the boat first and then back to the rear. These boats also include the "Wedge" which is a rear fin-like mechanism that controls wake and allows you to fill automatic ballasts(water containters) on the sides which also enhance the wake size.

A cool feature is how the prop is located underneath the stern so no one will get hurt by the swimming platform.
