One of the greatest things that we have in life is worship…it is the place where we feel complete. Sonicflood’s new live album, Glimpse, is an incredible album that leads the listener into worship, whether you are at church, driving down the road, or listening to it on headphones while you mow the yard. Worship can take place anywhere and this album is a testament to that fact.

Recorded on their international tour, Glimpse offers live performances of inspiring worship songs and also includes two new studio recordings. The album includes staples like “Open the Eyes Of My Heart and “I Want to Know You (In the Secret) as well as some of the newer material that Sonicflood has produced. It has four songs from the “This Generation album, including “You Are, “God is Here, “Your Love Goes On Forever, and “Everlasting. Each one of these songs is performed with the same passion that we have come to expect from Sonicflood. Also included is a live version of “Resonate and “Cry Holy from previous Sonicflood releases.

A unique aspect of Glimpse is the fact that it is the first recording with the current members of Sonicflood. What you find is that this group of guys is a perfect combination. Their voices blend well and their musical cohesion is impeccable. You can tell a lot from a live album, and this album shows that the talent level of Sonicflood is not locked in a studio…it is true talent that God has given them and brought together. This current lineup features a harder sound accompanied by a deeper sense of spirituality. It is a rock-style worship that reaches teenagers as well as adults. Not only does it reach across generation lines, but also across nationalities, as the recordings come from various stops along the road of their international tour.

The two studio recorded songs will be used as praise and worship songs in services all over the world. Written by Rick Heil and Jeff Pardo, “Infinite Love and “Save Me are very moving songs that listeners will be attracted to, no matter who you are. These songs reach out to Christians as well as non-believers. “Save Me focuses on turning over our lives to Christ and being saved from the kingdom that we have built, while “Infinite Love is really a song of God’s unwavering love and adoration for us.

This album is a great way to refocus your life and worship God no matter where you are heading. All the songs provoke worship from the soul, true worship that is life-changing. Sonicflood entitled it Glimpse as we all long for even a glimpse of God every moment of our lives.
