Review
Two days ago something happened that probably most of you didn't realize, although it was probably one of the most refreshing things to hit the christian music market in years. A shining light by the name of Jason Morant, straight out of the wreckage of New Orleans, brings something exciting and unheard of before to your local bookstore shelves.

Why is he such a big deal you ask? Well let me explain. If you took Coldplay, Mat Kearney, Andrew Peterson, and a pinch of Moby, put them in a blender and puree'd them for a minute you would pour out a nice tall glass of Jason Morant. His new album entitled "Open" draws you near to the throne room of God and begs us to embrace the divine. I haven't heard such true and beautiful lyrics in a long time. Songs like "Hosanna" and "Holy is the Lord" are great to listen to as you sit in your room and contemplate on the Lords faithfulness. My favorite song of all is "Come let us Return". This song could pass for something right out of the Coldplay anthology. It leaves you pumped up and excited about the Lords call to return to your rightful place by the King’s side.

If you are looking for something new, exciting and possibly the best album release of the year, I very highly recommend you go out and pick up a copy of Jason Morant's "Open" album as soon as you possibly can. It will change your outlook on Christian music and remind you that there is hope for the industry after all.
