Their Background
From humble beginnings, two Canadian brothers, Jon and Tim Neufeld continued to seek out their love for music. As their love for music began to grow, their love for God strengthened. "Our goal is being honest, being transparent, and encouraging our brothers and sisters to know God passionately!� says Tim. So many times, young musicians desire to play in a band to the point that they will do it or else. This band however, was not assembled after this manner. As a matter of fact, Starfield came together in a very natural, unforced kind of way, as the Neufelds' interest in music grew in and outside the church.
The band currently consists of Jon and Tim Neufeld who play guitars and involved with lead and background vocals along with drummer John Andrews and bassist, Shaun Huberts. With a love for leading worship and traveling the country doing so, these young men have gained a following of fans anxious for their music and touched by their lyrics. Although the band may be new to fans, they have been touring locally honing in on the talents, abilities, and gifts that God has given them to minister in the most effective way possible. With God’s leadership and their obedience, their music is able to be heard in various venues such as the season premiere of Joan of Arcadia on CBS. Their song, Tumbling After from their self titled album was featured on the drama which opens a very wide window of opportunity for the gospel to be presented in an area where it would not likely be accepted.
The Album
This is an album that you can slide in and let it roll. All 12 tracks are powerful, even though they don’t stray to far from their signature style. Some of my favorite tracks are “Love Break Me� and “Could I Talk to You� but it changes often. Take a listen and see how their tunes reach you.

I have such a passion for Starfield, they have reached out and touched my heart since I saw them at Willow Park, Kelowna. They are such an inspiration to me! I love Tim Neufeld (lead-singer). you could say I have an
o-b-s-e-s-s-i-o-n.
What an awesome and humble beginning they have had, and i just would like to hear them become more and more successful, to make their dreams come true, and to praise god! to love him as though he gave love and life to all of us. Thank you for the time.
