Chris Tomlin:
Live From Austin City Music Hall

An African native, away from his village, met some missionaries and learned for the first time of the one true God who loves all men. He went back to his tribe carrying the book, which tells of God, but he was unable to read it. When he told his tribe of this one true God, they wanted to do God honor. But how could they worship Him? They then took the “book and laid it on a stump and sat around it in silence in a meeting that might have reminded us of the old fashion silent Quaker meeting. Did such worship touch the heart of God? I don’t really know, but I do believe that what Chris Tomlin was able to accomplish through the Spirit at Music hall in Austin pleased God in an awesome way.

Imagine thousands of worshippers crowding in the music hall in Texas longing to hear from God. They wanted to feel the presence of God and there are few that can present music of praise that will accomplish this goal, but Chris was able to accomplish it.

Although this isn’t a recording of all new material, when you are able to listen, it will be like nothing you have ever heard. You can hear the fans worshipping with their voices lifting their praises to “Our God who is so deserving of it. I don’t believe that there is any song sweeter to the father’s ears than HOW GREAT OUR GOD. Lyric like this will make any true Christian want to worship their Lord and Savior. Worship is a WAY OF LIFE… and EXPRESSION of what the Lord has done for us! I believe that Chris Tomlin lives a life of worship. It impossible to be able to listen closely to God while penning songs like FAMOUS ONE without being in tune to what God is trying to say. As a matter of fact, FAMOUS ONE has made it to the ever so popular “The Chronicles Of Narnia motion picture sound track.

In John Chapter 4, Jesus is talking about true worship. The bottom line fact of what Jesus said is that time and place is not the issue… the issue is a question; “WHO OR WHAT IS THE OBJECT OF YOUR WORSHIP? I whole heartedly believe that it is for Chris Tomlin, that object is Jesus. Check out Chris Tomlin: Live At Austin City Music Hall for yourself, you will be glad that you did!
